The other side of the wall cabinets in the kitchen was a little more work because it's constrained not just by the wall, but by the door opening too.
We had planned on keeping the original exhaust fan over the oven.
After realizing that it was going to be a pain to put the old exhaust fan back up, we decided to buy a new over oven microwave. This required wiring a new outlet as well since the old fan was hard-wired in.
Lots of cutting up the nice new cabinets.
Everything managed to fit together as planned. The only thing i have left to do is connect the duct work from the microwave to the exhaust duct.
All done (except for the duct work).

hey, sweet! Lookin good! Excited to see the entire thing done! What all do you plan to do? floors and such? Hope you are great! We are getting more ready for the little one coming. It is fun to see what you are up to... Keep the posts coming!
We're doing all the cabinets that are currently there as well as adding a peninsula with a bar on one side so that should be fun. New floors and counter tops are also in the works. Hopefully i can finish by the end of the summer but we'll see what happens. Val promised to be patient with me so that'll help a lot.
